I'm trying to figure out what set of front coils will give me the 1 1/2 drop i'm looking for. Maybe one of you guys can give me your center front axle to fender measurement and what # spring you used.
My car is standard 67 coupe,small block, iron heads no a/c.
As it sits now it measures 16 inches axle center to fenderlip opening. I would like to get it down to 14 1/2. I got this car as a roller and was told it had a big block. (looks like big block springs,car sits like it has no engine).
I just installed multi leaf rears. Want the car to sit a little higher in the rear, (old school).
Have 275/60/15 on rallys in rear, 225/60/15 front.
I did look at Dave Pozzi info over on TC was thinking 6320 might work.

Hotchkis part #1907F ('67-'69 Camaro with Small block) 2" lower than stock.

With 215 60r15's it's 23-1/2" from pavement to fenderlip on my '69 with an aluminum headed 357 using the Hotchkis drop springs. I like them

Thanks Dave,DHH... Beings you guys have 69's the center axle to fender is most likely different than the 67-68.

Jim, sorry I didn't see this earlier...
On my 68, with the same 2" drop hotchkiss springs, I measure 13 1/4" from the fender lip to the center of the wheel cap.
I too like these springs. With QA1's set on 2, ride is firm but not harsh.

Have you loosened the controlarms bolts when the car is on the ground. In many cases the controlarms are tightened when the car is on jacks, with wheels hanging in the air. This preloads the bushings and they stay in a high position.

Try to see what happens if you release the upper arms bolt, it might lower itself by doing so.
