Oil fill is in the back - not the easiest place - but that is where it was.

But then you have to walk to the other side to check the level?
fill and stick should be on the same side.

You know we aren't supposed to have these on pace cars anyway...... :biggrin:

I know it's wrong - but it feels so good. :anim35: LOL

when I got my first 69 IPC in 1980...
The original owner had already installed those covers.
It was very common back in the day to add these - even before dealership delivery.

I have my originals hanging on the wall, if I ever need them.

A lot of people changed the sides on the covers for easier access to the oil filler hole. Some dealers did this on the first service. So it is OK to have them "wrong", it is a for the time period a normal thing.

The original way made it very difficult to fill oil without a long funnel.
