... is there anything I can or should do while I have the instrument cluster and dash out? I posted on this across the street, but didn't get anything real responses. Here's the link -- hope it's not faux pas to link to TC here on firstgens: http://www.camaros.net/forums/showthread.php?t=185238. You can see I have the entire dash harness and instrument cluster out.

There's a little surface rust that I'm grinding off. But is there anything else I should do before I reinstall everything? Just want to be sure I don't miss an opportunity to protect my baby!

Thanks!

I didn't do much when I had mine apart, besides working on alkl the wiring and such while I could access it. Those A/C hoses sure look like a bundle of snakes. Mostly use the opportunity to get everything working and working right.

Yeah, as always, that's leftover handy work of the PO. Even though I don't have the Vintage Air A/C charged or running, it seems like, if I could shorten those hoses, I would getting stronger airflow accordingly, i.e., the less distance the air has to travel from input to output the stronger air will be at output (vents)... Then again, physics was never my strong point, so I could be wrong.
