Just FYI.
As some of you know, I was going to try out a new (to me) local powdercoater. He is not new to powdercoating just new to me since the other shop I used moved to far out of my way to be local anymore. So I looked around for a local guy, I called the shop, spoke with Mark. He was going to come in on his off hours just to take my parts from me, not requested by me, he offered! I however did not have to ask him to do so, I was able to make it before he closed up shop for the day on a regular business day.
Super nice guy. And guess what, he races an 8 second 69 Camaro. :o
Anyway, more on that later.
He hopes to have my stuff done by tuesday, so if it's a go, I'll be able to pick it up before the Rt66 shop tour. :D

Tim, if you're confident that you can recommend him, then by all means do so.

How bout some contact info?

How bout turning him on to the site?

Wonder if he'd like to be a sponsor?

What did you have done how did it turn out and what kind of prices?

I sent in the steel reinforcements for the front and rear bumpers for my other car. They are about 5 1/2' long and way a gound few pounds each. They were full of 20+ years of undercoating and road grime. Filthy.
He blasted them clean, and coated them chassis black. Turned out better than I expected (for something I hope to never see again  )
$120 for everything.
I hope to bring him the suspension components I will be reusing, as well as the rearend when summer is over. Gotta start putting it back together soon to drive it. :3gears:
