First off, thanks Jim for letting me use this forum as it's not really 1st gen related. Maybe there is someone out there that knows someone or may have what I'm looking for. See end of ad for details. Thanks again Jim.

Ok, This is an 85 S10 shortbed backhalf truck. Truck is TRACK ONLY, but with lots-n-lots of work, I'm sure it could be put back on the street....it has the bare minimum of everything to save weight. Speaking of which, she weighs in at around 2700.

Chassis:
~8 point cage
~5 point harness with plastic race seat and has lots-O- padding
~All windows are poly/plexi
~All un-needed weight has been removed

Front-
~85 Chevy S-10
~Manual steering w/custom steering shaft setup
~Manual brakes
~Competition Engineering adjustable shocks on Moroso G-Body trick springs up front.
~Factory front disk brakes
~All new ball joints and bushings
~Line lock with manual brakes and adjustable proportion valve
~15" Centerline solid front runners with Goodyear (forgot the size and tires are getting some age)

Rear-
~Backhalf
~Ladder Bar setup
~9" axle w/ nodular 3rd member - Strange spool, Strange 31 spline axles & strange long wheel studs, Strange chrome 3150 pinion and Strange 4.88 gears with factory style Ford disk brakes.
~ Koni single adjustable coilovers w/new 115lb rate QA1 springs
~Greg Weld wheels - 15"x14" wide with Goodyear 31x13.50-15 D9 compound slicks. Approx 3 years old and have about 45-55% trad left.....has tubes, they need to be balanced.

Engine:
~SBC 355ci
~Stock 4 bolt block from 69 Z/28 (original 302 block) with 010 & 020 casting....high nickel and high tin content. (strongest factory block GM produced)
~Fully polished lifter valley. all screened and baffled.
~Callies 4340 Dragonslayer crank (3.480")
~Carillo 6" H-Beam rods with ARP Pro-Series rod bolts
~Wiesco forged slugs (not nitrous friendly) with a .400 dome (approx 14:1 comp after CCing heads)
~Moly rings cut for a small amount of spray (was planning 150hp shot, but never got around to it)
~Melling fully ported and polished oil pump
~Milodon windage tray - Diamond Stripper
~Crank scraper
~Comp double roller timing chain w/roller button
~Crower solid roller (custom grind) 270/270 @ .681 lift on 108 LSA
~Comp solid roller lifters - vertical tie-bar, offset intake
~Comp custom length pushrods
~AFR 220 heads (2002 model) 68cc chambers, angle plugs, standard exh bolt pattern, APR studs, 2.10/1.60 AFR valves, Crower triple springs/retainers/locks. Some mild portwork done, looks good
~Isky 1.65 full roller rockers
~GM BOWTIE Intake - 4150 flange (not ported, but has some mild smoothing around the intake to head port for gasket matching)
~Pro Systems carb, 780cfm
~CSR water pump, BE COOL wide 2-core radiator w/fan (switched from inside)
~Miodon 7quart pan
~Alum timing chain cover
~Fluidampr balancer - 6.25" w/billet pointer
~Custom built fender well headers. 1-7/8" primaries to 4" collectors
~Dynomax mufflers - 4" strait thru (very nice sound)
~Front motor plate
~Holley Black with huge in-line filter and all braided line to PR
~Every single fastener holding things together on this motor is all ARP, studs on heads
~Motor runs flawlessly. Motor pulls frikkin hard to 8k (limiter). I imagine this motor will spin 9500 very easily.

Ignition:
~Digital 6 plus
~MSD HVC 4252 Blaster Pro coil
~MSD Pro-Billet distributor w/adjustable collar and bronze gear
~Accel 8.8 race wires

Electrical system:
~Custom built electrical panel
~Custom built fuse panel
~Relays for every circuit
~Nicely labeled indexing
~External AND internal kill switch

Transmission:
~Powerglide 2spd
~1.76 1st
~Turbo spline
~Hardened input shaft
~Steel clutch hub
~Raybestos HP clutches and Kolene steels
~BTE Transbrake (no Pro-Tree) manual shift
~Custom built Coan converter (3 hits total) - 8" w/AB plate, Coan says it's a 6800, it flashes 5500.
~Deep alum pan by BTE
~Has a junky 4spd shifter that's been converted to work a glide in it, I have a nice B&M Pro-Stick that needs to be installed
~Custom built driveshaft 1350 joints
~External cooler w/tiny fan
~Runs on regular DEX III, I think the stall is still a little low, so I opted not to use 303
~Tranny works perfect

The motor has 6 runs total, the tranny has the same since a freshen up. Converter has 3 runs...all runs were test hits with no full out runs. Out of those runs, the best the truck pulled was a 1.48x 60' and a 4.28x 330' all on minimal 32* of timing.....never did a full 1/8th mile run, but I believe the truck will run a solid 6.70 the way it is and possibly into the 6.40's after some timing, carb tuning, and suspension adjustment. May even get into the 5's with a small amount of spray (motor will not take much)

Note: Alternator needs to be mounted. Also, the shifter needs to be installed. Otherwise, truck is awesome and fast for what it is. Needs very minimal to finish. Uses approx 1 gallon of fuel per run. Never had a cooling problem, truck launches very strait and true.

Asking 9500 OBO. No title as this is a race truck. VIN is still there and I have a carfax report on it....no problems ever.

Walk around vid....I have since installed Goodyear slicks, painted the tailgate, removed the stickers and added a roll pan ----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVV99ClYAVs

This video is a 1.50x 60 foot run. Still a test hit -----> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xuxPVetBXSU

As for trades, the ONLY thing I will trade for is a 69 Pontiac GTO or 69 Pontiac Lemans I can make a GTO out of....1969 ONLY! Trade value is higher of course. Does not have to be original, but needs to be complete and a decent driver that I will not be embarrassed to drive. I DO NOT WANT A PROJECT! I'm trying to find a car to paint and fix up for my dad so I can give it to him on his birthday. He bought a new one back in the day and about a year before I was born (78) it was totaled due to a hit and run driver, I caught him looking at old goats online a few months ago, and since then I have been thinking about making this happen. He told me that it was a 69 GTO, standard headlights, green with a white vinyl top, 400/400 non-AC car with a white interior.

Call/text if you have any questions 512-748-1289

Thanks,

~Joe
