Come on guys are you telling me nobody has been to the track since mid March? If nothing else post up some time slip or videos. This is a great site but, if we don't keep it active things will go downhill if someone browses the site and doesn't see any current posts, they won't hang around.

Right you are buddy. a bunch of us will be at the track a week from saturday, and we'll get some slips posted for sure.

Some tech stuff here would be good. What works and what doesn't in getting a car hooked up and whatnot...

Sadly, no. We have not been yet, but around here it's only been open for a few weeks.

I've been working 50-60 hours a week, trying to close out this project, so I have a feeling I won't come up for air untill next month... (Substantial completion is June 26) The new motor is sitting in the garage still waiting for me to do something with it.
Being the electrical contractor sucks at the end of the job, the schedule gets pushed back and so does the start of the bulk of our work (need a building to install an electrical service in it), but the end date never changes. Not complaing though, glad be working and making some extra cash for the hotrod...

I will update the day I get either my car to the track or we take the vette out for a shakedown, it's killing me!

Hi Royce if you would take some time off and come help we could get to the track. I have changed plans so many times it's killing me .I just bought a Chrome-moly Avenger Pro mod chassis from Chris alston . I sold my F-1 blower to Dano and i'm going to purchase either a F-2 or F-3. Vegas wrecked my going slow idea , i have a need for speed. I will drop you a line one of these days and chat.
Mark.

Sean,
I know how work can get in the way. Hang in there. The extra cash will go a long ways and you will forget all about the extra time worked as soon as you fire that beast up for the first time. I actually just accepted a new job, hopefully it won't cut into my garage time too much.

Mark,
You're an animal. I thought I was bad, by the time you're done with the car you will have what two bolts that came with the car when you bought it, lol. I know how it goes it's hard to take on someone elses project. If my car was done I would be happy to come up and help you for about 10 days while I am between jobs, I have to take advantage of the time and try very hard to get some work done on the Buick. I want to make a show at the begining of June.

Had to order a new windshield the old one was scratched pretty bad and the tint was faded. Anyone want to guess how much a new windshield for a 1961 Buick Skylark costs? That is if you can find one.

I don't know about the Buick but the guy that's going to do my car said he had to give $900 for a '61 Belair he just built. He was trying to convince not to worry if my glass was scratched. We can get new ones then knocked me down with that price. :woot:

Come on Royce we will have a great time racing . Sandra is just shaking her head on whats left of the car . I sold all the wheels and tires , i think the cage is gone now...oh ya and i just sold the wheelie bars yesterday . So i'm left with the front end , doors , deck lid and the main steel part of the rear shell. It should be fun to race again once its done . Hope you make your show in june...you have a winner for sure.
Mark.
