Shipped my Strange housing, Daytona pinion support and 1350 yoke to Moser a week ago Friday for them to install a new WaveTrac unit and new Motive 3.89 gears and this is what I got back exactly 1 week to the day later...............

Pressed the new bearings and retainer sleeves onto the axles today. These bearings have an o-ring on the OD that seals to the ID of the housing end. In addition I opted to use the inner axle seals that go into the housing ends before that axles go in. Hopefully the double seal arrangement(prolly overkill) will cure the leaks I was plagued with on both axles in the past.

Although this posi unit was significantly more expensive that others out in the market there were several reasons I chose it.........

1. It was the only posi available for a 9" Ford rear that would accept the 35 spline axles I already had.
2. It has a horspower rating of 1000hp. Frank at Prodigy Customs is currently testing one behind 1300hp in a drag car.
3. Completly American made
4. Has a Lifetime and transferable warranty
5. I had grown very tired of the noise and unpredictablility from the Detroit Locker which by the way is for sale. Also have a set of 4:30 and 3:70 9" gears for sale too.

Some people think I'm out of my mind, but in my defense it's pretty scary in there!

7000rpm side step clutch launches should be a pretty good test  Just need to work on my traction issues first.
