A Camaro 4 speed will have the speedo drive on the passenger side.

And there will be a partial VIN stamped on it, that will include the last digit of the year, and a letter for the plant, as in 9Nxxxxxx for a 69 camaro built in norwood

Anyone know what vehicles the "rockcrusher" came in?

Where is this VIN stamping? Side, top, bottom?
I don't want to assume.

Close to where the VIN is located there is a date code, If it ends with a C it is a M22, B is M21 and A is M20

If it is out of the car the input shaft should not have any grooves in it.

M20 has two grooves, M21 one groove.

It's in the car, so no luck on the grooves.
But I'll gather all the info I can off it, if I can't figure it out I'll post up the details.

The stampings are usually on the passenger side near the bellhousing, more to the top of the gearbox. Use a flashlight, they can be hard to see some times.

If it is built before October(if remember correctly) 1968 it will not have the "A, B C" stamped with the assembly date.
