My ignition switch turns clockwise fine and back to the off position, but wont turn back to ACC position. Someone across the street mentioned reseting the switch?

Try moving the steering wheel to the left & see if that works.

Never heard of "resetting" a 67-68 ignition switch

s'pose you could try to pull the cylinder and see what goes on in there...
Stick a paper clip in the little holes, then try to turn it counter clockwise, past accessory, almost flat 90 degrees, you can pull the lock cylinder out of the switch.

Also the only way to remove the switch, cause the bezel won't fit over the lip on the lock cylinder.

I had one once where the key wouldn't stay in, it would slide right out regardless of what position the keyswitch was in. It was a beech getting the lock cylinder out of that one.
