Anybody ever tried running a 3X2 bbl. carb set up on a SBC,I know they are made, but I was thinking something more like the Mopar guys used with a small 350cfm primary carb and larger 500cfm ones for the secondaries,I think the SBC one uses a 350 primary and 300 secondaries.I had a 70 AAR Cuda with that set up years ago and it ran good with vacuum secondaries, sounded real nice when the outboards kicked in,never really got it sorted out with mechanical linkage and I'm kind of on a"try something different kick" with the Camaro.

Yes about 45 or 50 years ago
Ran 3x2's, 6 Stromberg 97's , dual AFB's,, all kinds of crap
Looked really cool & seemed to run good,, or so I thought,,
Then one day I put a factory Z28 intake & single Holley on
Suffice it to say I sold everything else

Take a look for pictures of the engine in the 1st transformers Camaro. Now that was cool IMO.
Of course this is the first thing that pops up with a search for under the hood of transformers camaro. But I meant the engine pictures in the movie.

lmao... 3 dueces are cool. like mike said, destined to be outperformed by a good four barrel carb, but still cool.

I'd use something like the chevy big block setups, 3 holley 2bbl's with a vacuum "secondary" linkage. Remember, there ain't a street small block on this earth that needs more than a thousand cfm, and most need much less.
