Ya... I know, I'm always the first to talk about how butt-ugly LSx motors are. It's mostly the coils bolted to the valve covers that sets me off.
Saturday, at DRag Strip days in Oswego, we came across this twin turbo intercooled LSx installed in an early chevelle, 64 or 65 maybe? Some real fine workmanship and fabrication here, they even had an intercooler hiddeen between the radiator and the grille somehow, and anyone who knows these cars knows there just ain't much room there. I remember Jody's Malitude they had to slash and burn to get the intercooler in.
Anyway here's a couple pics for your pleasure. Note the bright "valve cover skins" they look more like normal valve covers than the things LSx's use, and they completely hide the coils.
