Anyone use the universal fan shrouds from Spectre or other brand?
I have a 67 with long water pump, pass side alt, and 23" rad. Cant use 67 shroud because it is for short water pump. Cant use 69 shroud because it is only made for 21" rad. Im thinkin I should try the universal shroud before I go and return my 23" rad to D&R (if they will let me) and get the 21" then use the 69 shroud.

Can the 69 shroud be extended two inches on the one side and work?
My brief search found no small block shrouds with A/C. I'm going to have this same problem eventually as I'm pretty sure I have a brand new 23" radiator in the box downstairs.

I do not see why not..that doesnt mean it will..
hang on just going out to look at mine..I know is not exactly right..
Back
Mine is not exactly fully square ther is near to no gap between the blade and shroud at the bottom and a good 1 3/4 2" gapat the top, and the blades are only just 1/2 in...
I can run a 120 thermostat and it runs at 120 /125 a 180 thermostat and runs 180/185.
So going on that, and if your radiator is in good condition, no blocked cores...lots of them...should not have any issues.
