Who makes the best door panels for standard interior? Al Knoch only makes the deluxe. Has anybody used Legendary interiors? There is one supplier I looked at some time ago that was big for Mustang supplies and had recently started to make Camaro stuff but I can't remember who it was. Any ideas on who this company is?

TMI Products is supposed to be in production now with their door panels. The picture I saw of a prototype looked fantastic.

Their website is here: http://www.tmiproducts.com/

I have been calling TMI about once a month since June 2010 to see if the panels have been released yet but no luck so far. When they finally get released, Firewheel Classics will be carrying them.

Thanks David, TMI is who I was looking for. I've heard they make good stuff. I'll try to get some info from YearOne when they will be available.

let's keep this one alive, and get some feedback on these products...

Decent interior pieces would have me redoing mine again, I got the ones from those other guys, and they suck... "puffy" rather than hard, and all the pleat welds are letting go, on the door panelks and the seats.

PUI for me too, been using their products for a long time now. IMO they are the stand out company of those currently producing Camaro interiors.

hmmm, really? Mine are in fact PUI. I don't like them at all. The pleats on the doors are soft foam rather than hard lined board like the originals, and most of the heat welded pleats have let go, both on the doors and on the seats.
They never looked anything like the originals, and they look terrible now.

It's a very short list though with really only 2 players and both companies have defective products from time to time.

Always makes me wonder why after all of these years that the reproduction companies just don't get it right! I'm sure they have had more time to perfect their product than many of the original OEM suppliers did.

New player on the block is exciting for all and may force the other guys to lift their game.

Ok I called TMI this morning and they do not have the door panels in production yet.   The lady said they should go in production early next year but they were still getting the material sources to find the best of the best. :hurray: She also said she was aware of the problems with the other door panels that's on the market and that's one reason they were taking their time to get these things going.

I forgot to ask my original question again. Has anybody used the panels from Legendary Interiors?
