I have a 69 Camaro with a grab bar that I want to take out. What goes in its place? Nothing? I checked Ricks Camaro and a bunch of other sites and I have no idea what goes there. Emblems? Do any holes have to get patched?

You are right. There is nothing that goes where the bar was attached. The Camaro emblem would stay but the 2 holes would have to be patched. If you take it out I would be interested in buying it from you if you want to get rid of it.

If memory serves me my original no frills car had the Camaro emblem in a different spot than the cars with the handle. I recall it being way over to the passenger side not centered in the dash.

Thanks Daniel and Jeff!!!!

If I have to patch holes, taking it out is more effort than its worth and I'll just leave it in.

Thanks again though. Especially for the pic which makes it real clear.
