Hey all,

Greeting from the Great White North, I signed up here about a month back when I was looking for some information on the Delco AM radio in my new toy. Looks like a good resource for all sorts of information.

I have posted pictures of my baby in the gallery. I brought her up from Napa, CA in early July and have a $%@#load of fun this summer with her. Sadly, the snow will soon be flying and it will be time to put her away for the winter. I will be doing some minor work on a couple of gauges, gearbox linkages, etc, but mostly cleaning/detailing and dreaming of top down cruising next summer.

Having fun, have fun,
Clay

Is that where Bob & Doug McKenzie did a TV show? :clink: J/K

Welcome aboard. Post up often. Questions, answers, comments are all appreciated here.
Some of us do and don't really know what we are talking about anyway. :hitfan:

Welcome Clay!
Beautiful car, and great pics in your gallery page.

We try not to look on the white season as "non-car" but rather "different car" A lil heat in your shop, and you can tinker to your heart's content all winter long! Your car sure doesn't look like she needs much, but as you said, there is always something.

I'm wondering what brought you here, another forum mention? a search? Facebook?
Please post or pm me the details if you could.

Thanks for the welcome and yes this is the land of Bob and Doug McKenzie, as well as many other nameless toque wearing, beer drinkin' hosers.(myself included)

I happened upon your site while googling for a fix for my Delco AM radio. Turns out it was an open(infinite impedance) speaker coil. I ordered up a replica 4x10 dash speaker from Electro-Tech in Blaine, MN (www.turnswitch.com) and it works great now. The sound is little "thin", but the wife says the sound matches the car perfectly. Especially when I tune in the local AM classic rock station and turn the "tone" dial down for some rippin bass, lol...

I, prefer the sound coming from the stereo "speakers" at the back end of the car....
