Hi everyone...

It looks like a pretty good bunch of folks here on this board so I decided to sign up. Not sure if anyone is from the Kenosha, WI area, but we have plenty of places to meet and greet around here. I've been the owner of a 69 Camaro since 1986. I was 19 back then and didn't know anything about early Camaros, though I could spin a wrench or two. Anyway, the car started out as a basket case and over the course of 2 years, I (along with help from some good friends) took the car down to the subframe and restored (restified?) it. It took me working multiple jobs and plenty of hours to do it, but it was back on the road in 2 years time. Since then, I've changed engines 3 times, rear-ends twice and transmissions twice. While it's not necessarily "stock", it's clean & runs great. With the advances in technology over the years, there's always something I want to improve on it. The best part about owning the car has been the friends I've made over the years being in this hobby.

I've babbled on a bit too much, so once again "Hi, everyone."

- Ron

It would seem it's customary to post some pics of our rides. Here's a couple from the 7th Annual Kenosha Classic Car Show. I heard there were over 600 cars in attendance.

Welcome Mr G :waving: . Sharp looking car.
Yes we do require pics.(or pester until we get them) I'm about 40min. west of you in Walworth County. I have friends/family that live in Kenosha and I have never heard of The Kenosha Classics Car Show??? When is it? Where is it?

Also I'm sure you know about the Jefferson Car Show this weekend. Are you planning to go? There are a few from here that will be there this weekend.
