Joe (Sixtynine) and I will be hosting Jerry MacNeish here in the New Orleans area in about four weeks or so (we are still locking in an exact date).

If anyone in the basic area wants to have their car certified, inspected or looked at by Jerry, feel free to email me at rdpern@aol.com or call at 504-913-3618.

There are a limited amount of slots, and it takes at least 4 hours or more to inspect a car.

I have a lift in my Gargage and everyone is welcome to use it for thier inspection if need be.

All costs shared by the group with no markup.

Too bad my 67 isn't original. It would be nice to meet him. I work in New Orleans and live in Lockport 45 miles away.

Hey Rich, do you have dates yet?

I have a done deal visit to p'cola coming up, and would like to swing over to New Orleans and see a prospective customer there while I'm south. It's probably gonna end up during the week of the 22nd.

Not firm, but "a few weeks". I think he is in Cali for two weeks then trying to swing here. In the next few days we should be able to lock in dates and I'll let you know.
My poolhouse is always available or one of my clients is the Melrose Mansion in the quarter and I am sure I could score you a room.

Rich

Some of us are fortunate to live near Jerry. Just be forewarned... Jerry is always looking for a free meal. Right, Jerry?

Also, if you really want to get his gourd, just whisper the word "Juno".

Yeah, just thought I'd see if I could get a reaction. (He'll be working on my car soon, so I guess I should be careful.)

You guys are bad. Sorry I have not been active here or any of the sites for that matter. I am burried with road trips and then on top of that had a very bad outing at the first NHRA national event race. Lost an engine and tranny on the first pass. So, between trying to get the race car back together, running the business, still screwing with my Juno e-mail issues and trying to nail down a new computer and or fix the current one, more fraud cars and long reports to write, law suits, etc, I cannot seem to enjoy my favorite time of year, Spring!

Rich, I am heading your way this month so stay tuned. Also heading to Iowa, TX, PA and many many more.

Will try and set the NHRA D/Stock record this coming week. If so, there will be a big celebration at CHP. Stay tuned.

Jerry
