Looking into a N20 kit for the Nova. Anyone heard any good things about Speed Tech? I saw some of the NMCA extreme street guys running them so they must be pretty good.

Thanks guys. I knew if the big dogs were running them they must be pretty good. I think a cage may be in the future for the Nova. I didn't want to install one, but if this car has a 9 second pass in it's future i better install one!

I was trying to stay away from the cage because of my bad back but i think i will install one for safety. Besides comp engineering, do you know of a good manufacturer for a cage?

Doug,
You're going to need a cage if you plan to run it often. The cage I bought for my Nova came from www.cachassisworks.com

If you have a roundy round track near you check with the local shops that build those cars, they are usually reasonable on their prices.

Speedtech is good stuff Doug. What are you thinking of doing, a plate or a fogger? We work closely with Induction solutions on the race car, Steve the owner is top notch with Nitrous systems and a great guy, customer service is second to none.

As for the cage you can run up to 10.0 with a 5 point (no side bar on the passenger side) and you could make the driver side a swing out, hardly even know it's there..lol
You know you will want to go fast enough to need one, I'm in the same boat I fought it off but after the new motor is done I plan to put in a 5 point.
