Not a Camaro this time but a real 138 '66 Chevelle. It's a driver in need of a restow but I got it quite reasonably. It has 3rd gen Camaro wheels on it... :woot:

Very Cool
Looks a little rough around the edges, but has tons of potential.
Very close to my favorite yr Chevelle.1967 :beers:
Are you planning a factory resto or more of a modern style?

Rough around the edges will be a piece of cake compared to this car...

It has no original drivetrain left. Currently has a newer 454 out of an unknown vehicle and a 4 speed. Owner told me it had a Chev 10 bolt rear, but I know from the pics that it has a BOP rear axle. I will leave the engine & trans for now and probably swap the axle with the '68 12 bolt I bought for the GTO. I will be adding power steering and power disc conversion. Original color was Lemonwood Yellow with Black interior. When I ever get to paint it will be Aztec Bronze with Bronze interior. It is a factory A/C car, so I will restore that function but with modern pieces and r132.

I had to get it out of my shop last spring so it has sat in storage all summer. I DID get a clear title to it, so I will be welding my fingers off this winter.

I like your 66 Chevelle and the fact that it is a #138 SS is a major plus. Good luck with your restoration.
