I added something new yesterday (1-17-11)
Below the welcome paragraph on the left column of our homepage there is now a "Latest Forum Posts" section. It shows the latest posts thread title and user, hovering makes some of the text fly out (doesn't work very well) and clicking on one will take you there.

Those of you who don't like being prevented from going straight to "new posts" look here.
