What's up guys? 3 total post in 2 days :woot: and one of those was a double post. 600 something members and this is the best we can do? :boring: We have got to get out the word and get some people involved. When I first joined we had at least 10 or 12 post every day. Where's everybody gone? :wall: I used to loose 2 hours sleep at night just to stay up and on here with good conversation and some very interesting post and have at least 4 or 5 guys involved.

I thru with my rant now so I'll go on to bed. See ya' tomorrow. :waving:

I hear Ya Daniel! I'm open to suggestions as to generate more traffic. I look at the history of people having birthdays and see how long it been since they've been here. Most times a year or more. I shower daily so I hope it's not that.

May of us call in regular....hell could post up each morning and say "hi" but what is the piont?
Its a matter of actually having something constructive to say or discuss.
A birthday?? hell had too many of them, even my real life friends dont know mine....its a personal thing where my family, children, grandchildren come over for dinner....
Dont even bother with presents....nothing more arkward than getting all those present out, line them up and tell the family, they are taking up too much room, if u dont want them going to donate to the sally army......
Cheers

Hey Steps did you read the SECOND full sentence of my post?
And I quote We have got to get out the word and get some people involved. unquote

I'm just sayin' we need to drum up some business. Even if it's small talk at least have a fresh post so it don't look like the site has been abandoned. The chat board had a message up that was 3 weeks old. That's not good for new comers.

I hear ya Jeff. I haven't smelled you yet :noway: but it has been cold weather. I guess I could go back and start a build thread and post a couple pictures every day just to have a new post every day for a while. IDK if that would work but it's a thought. Give me some feedback on that.

Small talk..Well my son and I went out hunting a few days in the Bush (subtropical jungle in NZ ) for sika last week...saw a lot but sika are realy smart...excellent few days away, weather screwed up should be well into frosty nights and hinds in heat, stags in full roar....but hinds dont seem to be going into heat to but the stags into roar.....pulled a few down but they sence something wrong 50/60 meters out....and in the bush thats a hell of a long way.
Then yesterday out on the harbour fishing, pulled in 2 good sided kawhia and lot of very over sized snapper (anything legal and couple inches over legal we throw back for another day, same with anything over 15 to 20lb....Was good to have a fine day for ANZAC Day...(sort of like your veterns day)

This weather is all wrong, Im still in a teashirt and bare feet...plant out my winter veggies, broccoli , cali, brussel sprouts...white butterfly should be all gone now....came back from the hunting trip and all thats left is bloody skeltons of plants....Sthern hempshere just on the edge of the roariing 40s autumn should be near finshed....grape and figs still have most of their leaves on.

Thanks for the recent birthday greeting.
I received a number of recent replies to old posts a week ago and it was all spam. It DID get me thinking about seeing what was going on. Guppy's post about finishing his '68 was nice !
One of the reasons for my absense is that I have done NOTHING to my car for 3 years. I spent all of last winter rebuilding a '66 Chevelle SS 396 that I bought (sight unseen) as a driver. 9 months and many thousands later it IS a driver now.

You can bring ALL your projects here, Chevelles, Buicks, workbenches, it's all good. I think I see sprouts on the money tree here unless it's just a mirage. If it really is beginning to sprout I'll be back on mine next month I hope.(crossed fingers smiley)
