OK guys, the Winter Olympics are starting this weekend. Does anyone here have any interest in them?
Personally I enjoy them more than the Summer games, not that we win much at all. It is just such a spectacle I love to watch.
You can't beat the downhill, luge, bobsled etc. Great entertainment value.

I always look forward to curling.


Is it really a sport?

I like the olympics, both summer and winter, a lot. Amature athletics is cool, racing for the honor, not so much the millions. Lots of cool stories, young kids with big dreams.

I hear they're gonna have a rough time tho. No snow! My buddy Mark tells me it's been near 50 Fahrenheit for weeks. They are trucking snow into the vancouver area from mountains further inland, and flying it up with helicopters!!!
