I ordered a pitman arm from Ground Up and I recieved the long one 5 3/4"...The one off my 68 is the short one 5 3/8...Kinda misleading if you ask me because they only advertise one power steering pitman arm for 67, 68 and 69...They should at least mention the measurements.

This is one area that I don't have much experience with and I was curious if the long pitman arm would work without changing other components. I would rather buy the correct one if this would cause other problems. Rick's Camaro sell the short one for $114.00.

Thanks

Mike

I believe it will work just fine, unless perhaps you're going into professional road racing.

For some great stuff on pitman arms and anything else involving making a Camaro turn a corner, look at http://www.pozziracing.com

I found the correct Moog one for my 68 at a local auto parts store (Lee Auto),and I know I didn't pay $100 for it,I almost think it was under $50.

Thanks Steve,
I'm going try the 5 3/4" (since its piad for) and we will see how that works first...I've read a couple of davidpozzi post on the other site and he states that the long one should work with little affect or no affect on the toe-in.

Mike
