Anyone have experience purchasing the correct height front springs? I need to replace a set in a 68 due to some sagging and would like a recommendation where to buy the correct ones that will provide the correct height.

Thanks in advance

Today you can't find all the variations in springs that Chevrolet could "computer select" for the Camaro. Moog has replacements today that are more average and will in some cases give the wrong height.

The Z/28 shared front springs with the 396 cars, try to find something like that.

Eddie M. welcome to FirstGens.com, ask plenty of questions put the brainstrust to work and post some pics of your ride in the New Members section, we all like to see pics! Enjoy...

Jan is spot on here!!

There were many different factory springs available and now the list to choose from is quite short, let me know if you get stuck and I may be able to send you an old Moog part #. Good luck.

Eddie my book does not specify the 302 Z28, only the 327 & 350 engines. Without A/C the # is CS6310 and with A/C CS638. These are TRW #'s by the way, can't locate the Moog book but the springs #'s were consistent from one company to the next from what I have found. I'll keep looking and if I can shed more light on it for you I will. Good luck with it!
