Next Spring I will be upgrading to to disc brakes on the front and I have been looking at Classic Performance Products website to see what they offer. So far...I like what I've seen there. They have some really nice conversion "kits" for what seem to really decent pricing.

When I bought my Camaro, the previous owner has already installed the front disk conversion. They have worked great for me.

Some people think I'm out of my mind, but in my defense it's pretty scary in there!

I have put in many SSBC kits and have never had a problem with the install. Every part needed was there....

You might also want to check the Summit kits. They are just like the SSBC's but have more options at a generally lower price.

CPP's front disk on my Camaro, with their rear disk kit too.
If I had to do it over I'm not sure I would use their rear kit. The calipers for the rear are a pain to adjust and bleed. You have to adjust the E brake first, then bleed.
I have heard about using ford Explorer rear disks. They might be better?
I like the idea of using something that was part of a production car. Reason being if you break down or have problems the parts are readily available. CPP tells what the kit uses for parts.
My 55 Bel Air is going to get a CPP front disk kit too.

I install the Wilwood kit on my car. Upgraded the back brakes to the Masterpower 11" drum kit. Installed braided brake lines. Car stops on a dime.

I finally decided on a manufacturer.......SSBC. Here is the kit that I'll be installing in a couple of months.........too freakin' cold for me to work on the Camaro now!!!!!

http://www.ssbrakes.com/commerce/detail ... ?nPID=8342

The kit comes with slotted rotors but I plan on upgrading to drilled & slotted rotors  . Any tips/tricks or helpful advice is very much appreciated :beers:

David..I recently converted a 67 with manual front drums to power assisted front disks. We used ssbc for this conversion and all went well with no issues. The braided flex hoses are long..but the banjo fittings at the calipers swivel enough to gain lock to lock clearance.
Imo..you made a good choice.
