Well finally got the numbers off my rear end do they make sense for my car or no?pf0921g e My car is just a plane camaro with drum brakes all around with a 307 any help would be great.

Mike,

This is the same thread as on TC, your info is all over there, this will help you out also.

Your rear is a 12 bolt 3.31 posi dated September 21st.
But to help us give you further info. having the casting date would be great. It is a letter and 2 or 3 #'s, example G 14 8, located at the top of the housing on one side.

Read this info. it should help you work it out.

Welli have now gotten the numbers off the diff housing webbing it seems to read 9 8 1 can any one tell me what they mean?
