After years of trying, I have perfected the margarita!

This is based on Chili's "worlds freshest Margarita" and features Milagro Silver tequila. This tequila is seriously good stuff, in comparison, Quervo Gold tastes like battery acid.

So without further ado....

1/2 oz milagro agave necter ( this is a sweetener, it's also the stuff that tequila is distilled from, thick like honey, very sweet)
1 oz lime juice. Fresh squeezed, the juice of 2 medium limes.
2 oz Milagro Silver Tequila. Sometimes I slip a little...
1 oz of water. you could skip this, but the drink is very strong without it. Also softens the taste a little. Mostly to add some volume so I don't get hammered before I get to enjoy my margarita.

Fill a glass with ice cubes, pour the ingredients in order, shake and pour it all in a glass. Most recipes call for using fresh ice, but I don't, don't want to leave any of the good stuff behind.

Chili's...isnt that where they give the margarita in the blue shaker? If it is, its very good. I think they called it the Cadillac Margarita. Yes, Cuervo Gold is GARBAGE! That was mostly everyones 1st shot of tequila in high school since its soo cheap.

the cadilac is one of many named margaritas at chilis. This one is new, and is called the "Worlds Freshest Margarita"

Also, my experience has included a terrible one, don't know how she mangled such a thing so badly.

This is my favorite...Don't have to use Patron, (I perfer that straight) 1800 silver would be fine...

1 1/2oz Tequilla - Patron Silver in a nice choice, plus you can use the bottle for a flower holder when it's empty.
3/4oz Cointreau
1/4oz Grand Marnier
3/4oz fresh lime juice
2oz of sweet and sour mix
splash of orange juice

Muddle limes, pour ingredients (the Grand Marnier is added last as a "floater") shake with ice, and then strain into a bucket glass filled with ice. Drizzle a 1/2oz of Grand Marnier on top and garnish with a lime wedge.
