OK my turn for some gratuitus tool porn.
I've been eyeing up horizontal band saws for yrs, but they seem to take up too much floor space. And I'm sick of cutting stuff by hand (grinder, sawzall, cutoff tool) And ordered up a cold saw. Granted not the $2000 DAKE model, but...

I know it's only copper, but I wanted to see how accurate and narrow I could cut. (very little distortion even on soft copper cut this thin.

The burrs look heavy but keep in mind this is only 0.125"x1.25" blown up.

And the best part it's MUCH quieter, and cleaner than my buddies chop saw. And the cuts are cool to the touch as soon as you lift the blade. I will admit I was a little apprehensive on the first cut, but it cuts fast and clean.
