I ran out of the CO2/Argon gas after the last installment. My 80 CU. owners tank cost me about 15 minutes & 40$ to have refilled at a local welding supply. So come with me as I share what I know & learn as I go. You have the tools, space and inclination to learn welding, now you need something to weld.

Good stuff Don.

I got to "parts 3" myself tonight, with one of the patches for the jeep's fenders cut out and clamped in plce ready to weld.

Yesterday I got my bottle filled up, so I'm ready to go. will lay a couple practice beads tomorrow then weld that patch into the fender. Then try to get the other 3 cut out and welded on.

Be sure when selecting your material for welding that it's not galvanized. When galvanized steel is welded the fumes are toxic. If you have to weld it be sure to wear proper protection from the fumes.
