I ran into Joe in Plainfield last night, he told me the Bell Road show was cancelled forever. :frown:
That's too bad, I enjoyed that one when we went last year.

Some people think I'm out of my mind, but in my defense it's pretty scary in there!

We were there went this all went down.
Take it for what it's worth there are several rumors.
The sears crew were attempting to keep people from parking along the south side of the building. And yet people continued to park there.
Apparently the DJ made an annoucement or two that they were threatening to call the police and have cars towed.
As I gather, the cars didn't get moved and the threats were followed up with some calls to the police. Which not only included the local police, but also the sheriffs. A bit overkill for a difficult parking situation if you asked me.
There were more cars than parking spaces on that night, so that's expected.
After the cars started to get ready to leave and they were about to start announcing raffle ticket winners etc. The DJ made the annoucement that the police made them cancel the show permanently from that day forward.
So everyone began to split and that was that. Which also included a few burnouts of those leaving in anger, which obviously didn't help the situation. I'm sure someplace else will welcome them and the business, but it was a pretty nice place to have it.
They were there for 7 years.
