I have reserved an infield camp site for the September race weekend!

This is basically a "i'm out of jail" present for Jake. It comes with 4 weekend tickets to the infield for the Truck Rac, Nationwide race, and the Cup Race, covers all 3 days.

Other than Jake and I, I do not have all 4 of the tickets assigned yet.

I / We can purchase up to SIXTEEN total tickets (that's 12 more) and ticketholders can/will get access to the infield any or all three days.
These infield camping tickets do not include grandstand seats, but do include garage area access.

How much interest is there in being a part of this?

A 3 day race weekend will be an awesome time for all involved I make a twice yearly pilgrimage to Talladega SuperSpeedway since '73 and always enjoy it .

If that there big beautiful bus can support people on the roof, I have friends who watched the race from the infield on the roof of a big RV a couple of years back. They had a blast.

What does a ticket cost Jim?? I would guesstimate around $50 plus for the infield becasue seats in the stands are like $65-95 depending on which day you attend.

for now I'm just looking for interest Tom.
we'll worry about how much it cost later.

On the fence for this one Jim. Donna and I are doing the VSCDA event at Road America the weekend before the Nascar deal..........doing camping plus the Touring Sessions on Sat and Sun with the Z. Bunch of bucks going out for that weekend so not sure I could do the Nascar thing with you guys even if I would like to. Cost will be a big factor for me so when you know the cost let me know and I will decide then.

That piece of paper will get one or more people into the infield of Chicagoland speedway on September 16, 17, and or 18.

A different person can have each ticket.
If you are staying overnight, you need both days tickets.

I have 4, I'm using 2. Don and Tom get the other 2 tickets for the cup race on the 18th, and possibly the tickets for the 17th if either or both wants to spend a night camping in the infield (highly recommended!!)

So I have 2 tickets for Friday, and possibly 1 for Saturday that I will give away to whoever begs the best.

ADDITIONALLY...
Each campsite can have up to 16 people, so TWELVE more sheets of tickets can be purchased. Cost is $120 each, and they include a pitpass.
If anyone wants to buy a ticket (or more than one) let me know, I have to do the buying, then get the ticket to you.

Note these are infield camping tickets. This is more about experiencing nascar up close and personal than actually being able to watch the race. My spot is row C #105, http://www.chicagolandspeedway.com/Seat ... V-Map.aspx thats turn one, third row, second from the end. If we can see over the top of the 2 13 foot tall rv's to our right, we could see from the start finish line all the way to the end of the grandstand in turn 1. Course, I ain't 14 feet tall. Still researching the practicality of watching from the roof of the bus, but it's not really set up for it.

Still, we will be IMMERSED in this for 3 days, living with a big bunch of hard core unltimate geartheads, camping in the same area as many of the drivers and owners. It's gonna be a bunch of fun.
We're allowed to BBQ, and to bring in our own beverages, adult and otherwise, so the bus will be well stocked.

i'm in for the Cup race only. Let someone else use the ticket for the Saturday event. Thx a bunch Jim and I look forward to hanging with you guys at the track!

I have something going Sat. but I'm in for the Cup Race. I'll work it out with Tom but I'm thinking I'll head to his place and we'll go together early and maybe I can cook breakfast for whoever is there.

Sounds good guys. We need to get together at some point so I can pass you the tickets, and we can plan our needs for stocking the bus.
