I will be heading up to GLD on Sunday for the open Test-n-Tune with my buddy Craig and his Mustnag to make some passes. Also meeting up with one of my suppliers and his son with his 3rd Gen Camaro and maybe a few other guys. The TnT runs from 9a-5p, cost is $40 to run, no idea on the spectator only fee. Weather looks like it will be perfect.

Anyone here interested in joining in on some gear banging :3gears: come on out, should be a lot of fun!

Spectators are 15$, I may ride with "red car" at least he'll be towing that Ford with a Chevy. Gotta call JT and rattle his cage.

Some people think I'm out of my mind, but in my defense it's pretty scary in there!

Well Tom how was the trip to the track? The weather was great, but with the warm temps and the sun beating down how was the track?

Had a great day Harley! Beautiful weather, sunny and upper 70's. Arrived right 9am with no line at the gate and maybe 15-20 cars inside already, more arrived as the morning went on but not a big crowd at all.

Worked on chassis tuning and tire pressure a bit which resulted in improving 60' times from a previous best of 1.77 down to 1.62. My ET's and MPH weren't as good as in the past. The Z trapped at 115-116 all day and best ET was 11.87. Could have been the warmer air and maybe jetting needed some attention just didn't have the time to play with it.

All in all it was a great day and had a blast. I will try to post some pictures in a day or two.

Pictures from Great Lakes Dragway!

Because I couldn't get any of my Camaro buddies to come out for a day of drag racing fun I had to hang with a couple of Mustang guys! Actually both Craig(my day shift supervisor at work) and Jerry(mutual friend) are great guys and a bunch fo fun to hang out with

A quick 10 minute carb change to compare 2 different carbs on the track. Both 750 HPs but one bulit by Allstate Carb and one by Pro-Systems Performance was so close with both trapping at 115-116mph.

Look like a great time Tom. Wish I could have made it. Too much work for me going on right now. :wall: There was a song some time ago...... Take this job and ..... ..!!!

Any way, I did manage to sneak away for a short period of time to Union Grove the weekend previous to this. They hosted the King of the Streets AKA- KOTS and a few guys I knew headed up some with cars to enter, some not. Great times. :3gears:

Looks like a great time. :3gears:

Looks like you wear able to get lots of track time, and with beautiful weather to boot. Those are exactly my same "bests" #'s Tom Minus the 60'. Even with slicks my best 60 was 1.68sec. I want to get that tuner on my car this winter and get some track time next year and get my times lower closer to where I think they should be, and then we can run 'em heads up. And next time Tom give me some heads up (pm or call) and I"ll see what I can do to make it out with you. Whether its GLD or Byron, Sorry still not driving to Indiana for a test-n-tune.
