I'm gonna figure out a way to go to this! It's free admission for spectators or show cars, $75 to race. Not sure if any car can race or just "supercars". The bad news is it on a Friday from 8AM until 5PM when most of us are working.

They usually do this in St. Louis. I've never been, but know people who have and have seen lots of pics and heard lots of stories.
These guys take some of the most valuable Camaro's (and others) and flat run the wheels off of them.

I've met and spoken with Ken a few years ago, a heck of a guy and a regular at these events.
He bought his ZL1 NEW in 69, and has been racing it since! And he still races it today.

I'd like to find a way to go. Never been able to when they've been south.

I'm going! It's official! i told my boss I was taking the day off to take my grandson to Joilet. I don't know if it matters that my boss used to have a Buick GN that was capable of 10:40's or the fact I offered to work Saturday if needed to make up for it.
