Grundy county speedway has a full ticket of stockers every Friday night.
They are just north of I80 on rt47 near morris.

Well.... Jake had a headache and decided not to go.
Turned out Carol had this idea so jake and Daddy could have some quality time, so she bagged out too.

So I went by myself, and had a great time. Short track "nieghborhood" stock car racing is big fun.

Yes it is big fun Jim. I recall the days of my youth at Raceway Park in Blue Island and have many fond memories of my time there spectating, driving and working on the safety crew. If you decide to do Grundy again make sure you throw it out there early enough and I will try to fit it in my plansd and join you.
