I would look them up in Jeg's or Summit to get a baseline and as long as they are in decent condition and depending on how old I would say 60% of new cost would be fair. Anything used that I see on Epay that is over the 60-70% of new cost I will skip it and go new for the warranty and the peace of mind.

Thanks for the reply Tom. I kind of use the same number, if used and in good shape no more than 60% is a good deal.
New they list for 439$ in Summit, so 60% is about 260$. These are near perfect, just a pitman clearance dimple, they actually fit really well. They won't fit my new mill so they might as well go I figure.
I think 250$ seems pretty reasonable then? I never know about this stuff, usually I sell crap wayyy too cheap to my buddies, but I'm not in this to make money, if I was I'm not doing too well...

X2.....The warranty has to be a factor for me as well.

If I had the cash & need I would pay $250 for a good set of Super Comps.

Thanks for the input guys, I figured they were worth 225-250 easily, they are in good shape. I'll get them out of the car (still attached to the exhaust..) and get some pictures and post em up, I'd like to see 'em go to a good home, and the money will recoup the 1200$ for the new Lemon's SB2.2 headers I need to have built....ouch.

Thanks again! :beers:

Hey Mark, how's it going! How's the recent hotrod coming along, I have been away for awhile working my ass off so I have missed any updates.

No, not jet hot coated. I was actually going to have that done while the motor was out this time and I'm glad I didn't, the new motor pretty much made them useless to me now, funny how projects get out of hand and change direction, huh?

Well let me know on the headers, i may still get them .The project has changed i think for the worst...we ordered a Chriss alston avenger pro mod chassis that will cert to 6.0 i,m just ordering a chrome moly 9 inch with 40 spline gun drilled axles and dual caliper rear brakes. Now does that sound like i have gone a bit nuts...the wife says yes, i just blame it on Jim he made me do it .I think twin turbos are in the plans on the 427sbc and a set of SB2's on top right now .I want to play for a bit and go fast . I will keep you all posted on how the divorce procedings are doing LoL. :3gears: :3gears:
Mark.

Dayum, that sounds wicked Mark! Twin turbos are definitely tough to beat, Trevor was about a month away from my SB2 I have now and twin 88's in his Elky when the deal on the vette with the brand new 706" nitrous motor popped up, his wife liked the Vette better than the Elky too......
That thing sounds wicked, I'm looking forward to seeing it complete! By the way, I believe Trevor still has the two 88's and related parts (wastegates etc.), and a brand new BS3 set up to sell (I bought just the long block from him). Not that I'm trying to help you out on the divorce...... :stirpot:

I'm just getting ready to get back going on my SB2, hopefully my wife doesn't pay to close of attention to the cost of the finished product.... maybe I'll be looking for a roommate.....
