I'm probably going to be selling the wheels are tires from my Camaro here soon.
I have a set I bought from a guy they were on a 1971 Chevelle. 15"X7". I sent them out and had them lightly blasted, bought Argent Silver paint for the front and black for the backs and painted them. Have good/decent rings and centers on all. There was some slight pitting on the wheels but not bad, certainly not perfect. New valve stems, Nitrogen filled tires.
Tires have maybe 50 miles on them total most just for testing and tuning locally and a slow cruise every month or so since they were mounted.
Tires are Cooper Cobra GTs 215/60/15 on the front 255/60/15 on the rear. You can see them on my car for the calendar pics submitted. I think it's the only white car submitted for the 2011 Calendar.
What's the set worth as is? Or wheels and tires separate?

I just bought a set from JimM, albeit 3 x15/7's and ! x 15/6 for $150 plus shipping, I'm happy and that was the asking price.
The best way to find out what something is worth is to put it up for sale with your price on it!!
Rally wheels aren't exactly thin on the ground, good luck Tim and I hope you get what you want for them!

If I put them on craigslist or other sites trying to sell them, what should I list them at to start?

And do you think I would end up with more total $ if I sell the wheels, rings, centers, and tires all independently as sets?

Your opinion?

In my opinion you will maximize your $$$ by selling them locally to someone who can pick them up, shipping costs are prohibitive otherwise particularly on the rims and tyres.
How much do you think they are worth?

In my opinion when you sell something that only certain people have any interest in you need to expose the ad to as many people as possible. IE: Ebay. I would choose the 10 day auction and set it up to end on a Sat/Sun afternoon when most people are off. Overestimate your weight as it always ends up costing YOU more with packaging, size etc. Pay for the extra pictures and show all the warts as well as the best angles. Sell the tires locally, they are too heavy. If you piece them out you have to deal with that many extra people, potential complaints etc. I would list them for 10% above the lowest price you'll be willing to take. Ebay & Paypal will eat most of that that up, and you'll have a couple of bucks to credit the whiny guy that can wreck your feedback over something inconsequential.
My 2 cents Tim.

Some people think I'm out of my mind, but in my defense it's pretty scary in there!

Nevermind, this thread (and section) went in a totally different direction than anticipated. I was looking for a ballpark value. No big deal, lesson learned.
I'll try to unload them across the street, if they don't go there, I'll ebay them. I'm very accustomed to the working procecures. I've unloaded alot of stuff on there.

good luck with them Tim. Again, the wheels and tires together will best sell locally, ie here or craigslist.

The tires alone will sell on craigslist more readily than they will mounted on the ralley rims, simply due to so many more potential buyers. It cost me six dollars each to get the tiures pulled off my ralleys.

The ralleys will go quick, but the $150 I got for mine is a reasonable price. And they'll sit if you price em to high.
