Just looking for opinions on putting Moon Discs on instead of wheels,I've never seen a 1st gen. with them.http://www.mooneyesusa.com/images/md1141.jpg They cover the entire rim and clip on(like a trim ring),screw on w/3 screws or 3 Dzus clips

A very Bonneville salt flats look to it IMHO. When I first read your post I thought BABY moons. I considered dog dish caps for mine at one point and haven't completely ruled that out but 60% chance I'm going a different way.

With a tight budget they don't cost that much, and a different look, made out of aluminum up to I think 44" in dia..

My wife likes buying camaro parts for Christmas.

Steve the jeg's Centerline copies are about $100 a piece. Worked for me and my budget.

Some people think I'm out of my mind, but in my defense it's pretty scary in there!

I can get 4 Moon disc's almost for $100,trying for a different temporary look for the 15" wheels on it now.Hopefully 16" or 17" wheels for it in the future, hence I don't want to spend too many $ on 15" items. The rallye wheels on it now are good(need some polish)and when the day comes for larger I could probably get some money out of them by reselling them.
