I have a chance to buy some vintage TT D wheels. 14x7 old style wheels and need to know if someone can assure me that they will clear stock GM single piston calipers on the front. My 67 has Wilwood calipers that are a copy of the stock 69 style factory calipers & stock rotors and before I buy these wheels and pay to have them shipped from halfway across the country I'd like to be sure they're gonna fit. Thanks.

A good friend of mine has a 67 rs/ss with stock single piston calipers...he is not running torque thrusts..he is using a 14x6 ralley wheel, so they will fit in a 14 inch hoop. Hope this helps .
Mark.

Mark I know about the 14" disc brake ralley wheels. They also made a drum brake version that would not clear the calipers back then. I also just bought some old 14" Aluminum slots for cheap money that were made in the early 60s and they hit on the calipers due to the "step" inside the rim, not the 14" part itself. I really need someone who has used the American Racing TT D wheels on a Camaro with disc brakes to tell me they will fit. I appreciate the info but unfortunately all 14" wheels are not alike as far as what they will fit. The 14" slots weren't a waste of money. The wife decided they are her new wheels for her 57 Bel Air and that's still got 4 wheel drums. Kinda cool to have period correct wheels for the 57 anyway. Those wheels were made in 1963. Also putting a Wayne finned aluminum valve cover & side cover on the stock 235 straight 6 and looking for a set of Fenton split exhaust manifolds & a dual carb intake for the 57.
